Abby is our January 2023 pet of the month! She is a 5-year-old Beagle mix who we first met in March of 2022. Abby suffered a disk herniation and had a hemilaminectomy surgery performed. We started seeing Abby once weekly for rehabilitation therapy that included acupuncture, laser therapy, and therapeutic exercises. Additionally, weight loss was a very important goal for her. Her hard work has been paying off, so far, she has lost almost 4 pounds since her initial exam. She was fitted with a wheelchair that she continues to enjoy using at home and goes for very long walks! We are so very proud of how well Abby has progressed since we first met her! Keep up the hard work Abby!
