Meet Foxy, our April Pet of the Month. She is an adorable, 16 month old, Pembroke Welsh Corgi with aspirations to be an agility dog. However, she started to limp on her left front leg. Fortunately, no significant problems have been found, but her breed conformation with short legs and a long body can create stresses on joints and muscles that other dogs never even need to worry about. This does not mean that she will never compete, but she is in a combined rehab & fitness program to allow her growth plates to completely close and condition her muscles to try sports again in a few months.
