Bailey is our October Pet of the Month - as you can see she is a fan of Halloween! She came to see us because she was quite wobbly in the rear legs due to some neurologic issues. She could walk but was very ataxic and lacked strength, especially in her right rear leg, and she had moderate myofascial back pain. In addition, she had medial patellar luxation her entire life, which was stable.
Bailey started with some basic exercises, underwater treadmill, acupuncture, massage and laser (the last 3 are her favorites) and really has improved a lot. We fitted her with a help em up harness to aid her family in giving minor support to her rear end as she walked and she tackles all her exercises so much better now.
